I’m a software engineer who has spent over a decade building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems. I care about making things work reliably at scale — and understanding why they sometimes don’t.
In recent years, I’ve become increasingly interested in how AI changes the way we build software, make decisions, and understand the world around us.

- AI Applications — not the hype, but the practical side: how AI fits into real products and workflows.
- Running — the most honest feedback loop. No shortcuts, no hacks. You either put in the miles or you don’t.
- Investing — understanding markets as complex adaptive systems. Building rules to manage risk and emotion.
- Psychology — why we make irrational decisions under pressure. Cognitive biases, emotional regulation, self-awareness.
- Reading — the cheapest way to learn from people smarter than me. Books on systems thinking, decision-making, and human behavior.
These topics look unrelated on the surface, but they share a common thread: they’re all about understanding complex systems — whether built with code, driven by markets, or wired into the human brain. The skills transfer. Pattern recognition in distributed systems helps me read market structure. The emotional discipline from running helps me follow trading rules. Psychology explains why good engineers still make bad decisions.

My Philosophy 我的理念
I don’t have a manifesto. But a few ideas keep showing up in how I work and think:
- Lifelong Learning — the world changes too fast for any fixed skillset to stay relevant. The ability to learn is the only durable advantage.
- Long-term Thinking — most good outcomes come from patience and compounding, not from optimizing for next week.
- Systems Thinking — individual events are noisy. The system that produces them is the signal.
- Continuous Improvement — small, consistent iterations beat grand plans. Ship, learn, adjust.
- Curiosity — the willingness to ask “why does this work?” even when you’re not required to.

Why This Website Exists 为什么有这个网站
This is a Digital Garden — a place where ideas are planted, tended, and sometimes pruned. It’s not a blog with polished essays. Not every page represents a finished thought. Some notes are rough drafts, some are works in progress, and some might be wrong.
I maintain this site because writing forces clarity. When I try to explain something — a market thesis, a technical concept, a book that changed my thinking — I discover the gaps in my own understanding. The act of documenting is the act of learning.
